Regarding our Friday eBLASTs, we have had a tremendous response the last 9 months of promotion of many of your businesses and organizations!

We are continuing to do FREE ads for our members that go to 1,000’s of in-boxes as well as being promoted on our website, Facebook and Instagram pages.

You can also post updates on our FB page and Instagram. Now is the time for us to update our eBLAST to get the most effective promotion for you and your business.
If you have a current flyer in the eBLAST, please lets us know to keep it in, swap it out for something new or remove it. So, if you want to be included in our Friday eBLAST you must resend your updated flyer and/or link to me by Thursday at noon each week.

This year’s Cowboy Golf Tournament is slated for 9 am on Friday, April 16th at Wilcox Golf Club in Red Bluff. Lots of prizes, fun and the chance to play with Pro Rodeo Cowboys!

The Red Bluff-Teha­ma County Chamber of Com­merce is excited to host this tournament again. Great prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd places.

Eligible projects include waste prevention, reuse, recycling, composting and anaerobic digestion. The funds can be used as working capital or for leasehold improvements, or to purchase machinery, equipment, recycled raw materials and inventory, real estate property, or to refinance onerous debt that could result in increased waste diversion.

PPP Paycheck Protection Program is OPEN

To promote access to capital, initially only community financial institutions will be able to make PPP Loans. Contact your local financial institution for more information. Many local small Businesses took advantage of this program last year! Many who have applied have received their fund for this year’s round!

This round of the PPP continues to prioritize millions of Americans employed by small businesses by authorizing up to $284 billion toward job retention and certain other expenses through March 31, 2021, and by allowing certain existing PPP borrowers to apply for a Second Draw PPP Loan.

Key PPP updates include:
  • PPP borrowers can set their PPP loan’s covered period to be any length between 8 and 24 weeks to best meet their business needs;
  • PPP loans will cover additional expenses, including operations expenditures, property damage costs, supplier costs, and worker protection expenditures;
  • The Program’s eligibility is expanded to include 501(c)(6)s, housing cooperatives, direct marketing organizations, among other types of organizations;
  • The PPP provides greater flexibility for seasonal employees;
  • Certain existing PPP borrowers can request to modify their First Draw PPP Loan amount; and
  • Certain existing PPP borrowers are now eligible to apply for a Second Draw PPP Loan.
A borrower is generally eligible for a Second Draw PPP Loan if the borrower:
  • Previously received a First Draw PPP Loan and will or has used the full amount only for authorized uses;
  • Has no more than 300 employees; and
  • Can demonstrate at least a 25% reduction in gross receipts between comparable quarters in 2019 and 2020.
